After the concrete is poured, all the wood forms will be removed. The vertical supports will be gone and the slabs will just cantilever out from the wall. I think I'll let the forms stay up for a month or more before I remove them, in order to let the concrete cure. Just to be safe. Hope the engineer got the calculations right.
