.....and since there's more framing.... This is the tripled framed wall. Each stud in the wall is actually three studs. It was meant to only be a double framed wall, but the conditions on the inside dictated that it be extra wide. You can see the curved cap plate up under the roof deck, which will give the roof a sense of floating.
